SHADOWLANDS (2009)

This recording is my first "proper" album, ie recorded in a studio. A large cast of characters helped me put together a trip through folk, psychedelic, progressive rock and ambient music. Some of these songs had been kicking around for a while, and others were written especially for this release.

An attempt to blend the musical styles most dear to me, it combines the grandeur of the symphonic rock sounds of the Moody Blues and Pink Floyd with the strong influence of 70s folk balladeers like Richard Thompson and Nick Drake, as well as a dash of Krautrock, bluegrass and psychedelic pop for good measure.

INFINITIES (2005)

Recorded over a long period of time in two musty apartments, these tracks happily acquired the gauzy haze of an early 70s psych record with little help from me. They unfold like a melancholy daydream on a cloudy afternoon—lo-fi but not low quality.
