Writers' Guidelines for Submissions We are NOT accepting children's, crime fiction or general fiction submissions at this time. This site will be updated when are able to accept again. Dark Star Fiction: We are currently accepting submissions for Dark Star Fiction, a new literary imprint. The goal of this imprint is to publish new young voices in Canadian literary fiction, involving non-conventional themes and settings, and aimed at audiences which reflect Canada's developing urban environment and modern concerns. Please note this is not a children's or teen imprint. Guidelines: Submissions that are not accompanied by a SASE will not be read or returned. All authors submitting to any of our imprints must be based in Canada. Please do not send fiction proposals that are not accompanied by sample chapters or a full manuscript.
